Software Versioning System

All Pure Software products will follow the software versioning system described below. The version numbers will be divided into three separate digits, and incrementations of these numbers will follow the rules below.

Example: Version 1.2.3

[1] Describes the current major version/code base. Your license only applies to this number (i.e. if you purchased version 1.2.3, your license does not include version 2.0.0 if it is released). This number will only increment when there are major feature overhauls or a complete codebase change.

[2] Describes the current feature set version. Any major feature additions or changes in the way the software functions will increment this number. Your license includes changes to this number.

[3] Describes the current bugfix version. Bugfixes, minor code cleanups, and minor template changes will increment this number. No major feature additions will be included in these versions.
