Lore is designed to work on as many different systems as possible by accounting for and automatically adjusting to minor differences in configurations. Any web server that runs PHP and MySQL should be able to support the software. It has been tested with many different web browsers on different operating systems and is designed to look almost identical on any system. The full specifications can be found below.

Operating System:
Lore is designed to run on any system that supports PHP, which runs on just about any operating system. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Unix (Solaris, Irix, AIX, HPUX, etc.)
- Linux (any distribution, including Red Hat, Fedora, Suse, Slackware, Gentoo, Mandrake, Debian, etc.)
- BSD-based Unix (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, etc.)
- Windows (any version starting from Windows 95, including Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, etc.)
- Mac OSX
PHP Configuration:
Lore is independent of the following php.ini settings (they can
be on or off)

MySQL Configuration:
No special MySQL configuration is necessary.

The end-user interface is designed to work in all modern browsers,
and look almost identical in any browser that supports CSS 1.0.

The control panel works in any modern browser, with the exception
of the optional WYSIWYG editor, which currently supports only
