Basic Requirements:

Pineapple Links requires a web server running the following:

PHP 4.1.0 (or greater)
MySQL 3.23 (or greater)

Pineapple Links has been tested on both Unix/Linux systems and Windows systems.

PHP Configuration:

Pineapple Links is independent of the following PHP ini settings (they can be on or off):
 
register_globals
enable_track_vars
safe_mode

MySQL Configuration:

Pineapple Links uses standard MyISAM tables and requires no special configuration.

Other Notes:

Root-level access is NOT required to install the software. It can be installed completely with FTP and web access.
